Exercising is one of the best things you can do for your body! In the beginning, it might seem like a difficult task, but the benefits are worth it. You have numerous exercise options to choose from: walking, running, cycling, gym, tennis, soccer, dancing, and many more. It is essential to do what you enjoy since this will make it a lot easier!
If you are about to take this step, here are some tips that will make a difference.
1. Set a goal- determine measurable goals to keep you motivated and so you can see the progress. Start with small objectives and set them higher as you reach them.
2. Make a plan- the chances of you succeeding are higher if you set plans and follow them. For example, if you want to run a 5K, start with short progressive races until you can run it all. Then set higher goals like running 10K and so on!
3. Turn it a habit- follow your established plan to create a habit. The idea is to make it stick for a longer time in your life, this will help you enjoy the benefits it brings.
